As a UCF graduate c/o spring 2010, I’m bursting with advertising and public relations knowledge that I can’t wait to apply to my career. Of all that I’ve done in the industry, my passion is graphic design. There’s nothing I like more than to see the perfect ad in my head and watch it come to life on the computer screen. Then, of course, there’s the payoff of seeing it published and distributed all around Central Florida and even around the world. It’s awesome!
I love working at Powerhouse because, since it’s such a small and centralized agency, clients are ensured that they’ll get our full attention and the best services to suit their needs. Likewise, employees get to play a part in all aspects of the company’s services. One day, I’m designing artwork for a client’s Web site, the next I’m at a citywide special event promoting a massage service or a local car dealership. My job is so diverse and fun that I’m always on my toes.
But the absolute best thing about Powerhouse is that I can be myself. Flip flops and t-shirts are okay in the office, and I can crack jokes at will. You might even find me clowning around at events (or pretty much anywhere else, for that matter).
